Estate Sale Etiquette

AS ALWAYS WE ALLOW A LIMITED NUMBER OF PEOPLE IN THE HOUSE AT ONE TIME.

We are excited that you will be attending our upcoming Estate Sale. We have a few guidelines we want to share with you to make the sale a great experience.

1) Signups start one hour before the start time each day to get a number for entry into the sale.

2) We ask that you PLEASE only pull tags or take huge bags of clothing or decorations if you are 100% certain you are buying those items. This is necessary to keep all items available to other potential buyers.

You may only carry or take a lot of items if you are 100% buying them. It is not fair to the owners or other shoppers.

3) All children are welcome, but please keep them with you throughout the home and do not leave them unattended. We ask that you leave your dogs at home.

4. Please try to handle all furniture and decorations with care.

5. We will have an area marked for you to "hold" your items before purchasing, but we will not have a designated staff member there to watch the things you wish to purchase. This is your responsibility.

6. We do not supply bags or boxes to hold/wrap your items. Please bring your own.

7. There are no public restrooms at the sales.

8. If you plan on purchasing large or heavy items, please bring adequate help, as we will only sometimes have employees there to help you load. So please bring a friend or loved one to help you load heavier items.

9. Large furniture pieces or appliances MUST be picked up at the end of the first sale day, one hour before OR after the second sale day. These items can't be moved DURING the sale as they can cause an accident in the house or issues outside the house due to loading the articles.

10. If you pick up an item and decide not to buy it, please place it back where you found it.

11. You know not to steal, but lots of people don't think that moving items from one box lot to another isn't theft, but it is. Taking things without paying for them by hiding them in a bag or under something is also theft. Please be courteous of the client's possessions.

12. There will be no discounts on the first day of sales. The price marked is firm on Day One.

13. Any discounts will be communicated on the 2nd day of the sale.

14. Be sure to examine all items closely and carefully before you pay for them. You are welcome to test the working condition of electronic items on site. All items are sold "AS IS". We make NO guarantees regarding the operational or cosmetic condition of items sold, and we do not offer refunds. All items are sold "AS IS, "NO REFUNDS. Please check before you leave.

15. Please be aware. Sort it Out, nor homeowner are responsible for accidents.

16. We have sold tags if you wish to purchase large items. Please let an employee know; they will give you a card to take to the register. Once the item is paid for, they will mark PAID. Once paid for, bring the card back to the employee, and they will mark it sold.
